This framed custom Double Wedding Ring sampler is made using either fabrics that are special to you or the couple, or a custom palette of your choosing. The Double Wedding Ring is a quilt block traditionally made for newly wedded couples - featuring interlocking rings, it symbolizes the couple's union and decorates their home together.

The sample shown was made with fabrics from the family archives of the couple: scraps from outfits made for children, pieces of fabric from a family member's sewing box. (If you would like to take this option, you can send me scraps to work with - if you're not a sewist yourself, don't worry! I'll guide you through what to send!) If you choose to simply specify a color palette, I will pick fabrics and make sure you approve them before getting started.

This item can be further personalized with an embroidered center, featuring the couple's names and the date of their wedding, and a dainty vintage floral decoration stitched in fine silk thread. If you would like something else stitched in the center, get in touch and we'll see what we can do!
